We offer two different floor fitting formats: rigid core and loose lay.

 Rigid core explained

Planks and tiles with a rigid core makeup offer more robustness and stability and are less pliable than other vinyl flooring floors. Fitted together by a clicking locking mechanism. Our Palio Rigid and Palio Core ranges have a rigid core construction.

Benefits of rigid core:

Patented click locking mechanism

No need for adhesive

Quick and easy to install

Installs over most existing hard floors

No underlay required

Reduces impact noise transfer by 19dB

 Loose lay explained

Laid direct to the floor the loose lay planks and tiles have a friction grip backing that holds them in place using a combination of weight and friction. In most cases, a tackifer is only needed for thresholds or under kitchen units.*
